Marina Salama

Dr. Salama is a board-certified pediatrician with experience caring for children, teens, and young adults across inpatient, outpatient, and specialized eating disorder settings. Her experience as an inpatient hospitalist and outpatient general pediatrician has given her a broad understanding of the medical and developmental needs of young people, while her work as an eating disorder specialist has allowed her to develop a particular passion for supporting patients and families through the complexities of eating disorders.

Dr. Salama’s practice is centered on providing compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized care in a supportive environment. She believes in treating the whole patient—not just the eating disorder—and partnering closely with patients and their families so they feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout recovery.

She also collaborates closely with local therapists, dietitians, and other members of a patient’s care team to provide coordinated care and help make the recovery process as smooth and comprehensive as possible.
