Christine Loeb, LMFT, RD
Dietitian, Psychotherapist
San Fernando Valley
Following training as a Dietitian and my own transformational experience in psychotherapy in the 80’s, I returned to school to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well. Disordered Eating and painful Body Image experiences require both guidance in meal planning as well as an understanding of underlying issues. And because a team is best for treatment, I often coordinate treatment with other wonderful Dietitians and Therapists in our community.
I have some specialty training in Grief Counseling and I find this to sometimes be a significant piece of the puzzle.
I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, and families to demystify Eating Disorders- to translate them into meaningful symptoms that can then be addressed. Recovery is always always possible with enough support and a little hope.
In my spare time, I enjoy Yoga, LA’s year-round Farmers Markets, and of course….Cats.
